Our Mission:
The State of New York Police Juvenile Officers Association is committed to the development and implementation of quality training for all of its members and others in the field of juvenile justice. Through this training, law enforcement and other juvenile justice and human services professionals will ensure that our communities remain safe and that our young people have the opportunity to develop into successful and productive citizens of every corner of New York State.
What We DoThe SNYPJOA believes that it is imperative to work collaboratively with other agencies in the accomplishment of our mission. Our Organization maintains close working relationships with DCJS, OCFS, the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police, the New York State Police, the New York State Sheriffs Association, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Youth Bureaus of New York State, NYS Women in Law Enforcement, and many other community organizations.
