Continuing Education Workshop Series -  One day registration, registrants can register for one or more days and select training they wish to attend

Monday - 

9a-noon Raise the Age instruciton from 9a - noon,  instructor will decipher the new                              legislation as it will take effect on October 1st.

 1p - 5p Raise the Age Forum - Panel of experts in the juvenile Justice Field will provide                   in indepth look at how RTA will effect there segment of the system.  Questions                     and answers will follow.

Tuesday - 

8a-noon Potential Violence in the Schools - reponse to Active shooter for the SRO presented by the FBI 

8a-noon Lessons from Sandy Hook -  an indepth look at the Sandy Hook tragidy presented by a first responder  

1p - 5p Kids Escaping Drugs - A look at proven measures to help combat and deal with kids and drugs  

1p - 5p Racial and Ethnic Disparities - a look at how to deal with disparities both racial and ethnical growing in NYS

Wednesday -  

8a-noon Gangs and the Media - a look at gang actividy in NYS and how media has influenced and effected the growth of gangs    

1p-5p Cell Phones and Social Media - looking at social media

Thursday

8a-noon Sex Trafficking - a look at missing persons that lead to sex trafficking

1p-5pm Trauma Training -  SNYPJOA Police Surgeon Mark Hamil will present on how to deal with training during violent incidents with hands on medical treatment

Friday

8a-noon LGBT/Gender ID/Bullying - dealing with peer pressure and harassment of this community issue as presented and used in NYC by the NYPD
